The Scream Franchise – Episode 247
This week as we drift out of our Halloween Hangover, John has forced Brian to finally confront his distaste for The Scream Franchise. Long time listeners of the podcast will know that despite Brian being an aficionado of cinematic terror, Wes Craven’s 1996 meta-filled opus stands as a very consequential film in Brian’s view of how the horror movie was changed irrevocably as a result of it’s success.
So it is a franchise analysis AND a therapy session, a trick and treat if you will. So grab your ghost face mask and book of meta movie knowledge as we crack open The Scream Franchise!
