Now that the infamous New Year’s 2017 stomach bug has left us, we can get down to brass tax with a very exhaustive review of some of the gems and turds to grace the silver screen in 2016.  In a year that brought us the deaths of countless celebrities and a gorilla and the election of a giant cheeto with tiny hands;  does the world of cinema end up fulfilling our much needed escape or is it another symptom of a year that we can all say good riddance to.
